Course Description
Computer-aided three-dimensional interactive application) is a multi-platform software suite for computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), computer-aided engineering (CAE), PLM and 3D. it supports multiple stages of product development from conceptualization, design and engineering to manufacturing.
1. Introduction and History:
User interface, keyboard shortcuts, Datum Planes and Reference Planes.
2. Sketcher:
Drawing Profile lines, splines Arcs and ellipse, Pattern, Move, Copy Sketch. Geometrical constraints, and projecting sketch.
3. Part modelling:
Modeling based on given sketch, extrude, revolve, sweep and rib, Loft, Shell, Pattern, material selection and Boolean operations.
4. Assembly:
Importing Part Files, Pan zoom and rotate, Feature tree, and Pattern, Smart fit and advance assembly tools.
5. Wireframe and surfaces:
Boundary surfaces, trim and project cut a surface, loft, sweep, extrude and revolved surface, thicken surfaces.
6. Drafting:
View Creation Wizard, drafting sheets scale, Title Block. projection method, section view, auxiliary view, break view and detail view.
7. Annotations and Dimensions
Geometrical tolerance, weld symbol representation. Tables and balloons, bill of material and parts list.
